October 23 & 24: The Afterlife of Deer
A Old Woman
The Afterlife of Deer
A deer skull with a lit candle on either side sits centre stage, dimly lit from above. Behind these objects is a tin pail. From above, a thick, black liquid (dilbit) drips into the pail at a steady rate. When the pail is almost full, an old woman in a long black dress walks across the stage with an empty pail. She kneels before the skull for a few seconds, picks up the full pail and places the empty one in its place before continuing across the stage to exit.
